Fall Art

Although south Georgia is still quite warm and muggy we are feeling the fall spirit.  The sun has shifted slightly and you can walk outside in the early morning and not sweat.  If you live in the deep south you are fully aware that it can be warm way into autumn and not really cool until December.  My mother lives on an island in Florida just south of here and some of her neighbors celebrate Christmas by going to the beach.

My kids created some art today to celebrate the season.  They used brown paint on the sides of their hands to create tree trunks and then they dipped their fingers in red, yellow and orange paint for the leaves.

My oldest got real creative.

Now I need to buy a pumpkin and make the first pie of the season.
