Unseen by the Naded Eye: Heaven and Earth
Phaidon
On a recent trip to the book store I found a fascinating book at a phenomenal price. My kids have enjoyed looking through it. The images are taken through either a microscope or a telescope. So you are given the opportunity to see atoms, ice crystals, grains of pollen, snowflakes, butterfly wings, cloud formations and so much more. If you are looking for a book that will grab their attention this is a wise choice. Then while you have them talking and exploring you can take them deeper.
Here is a picture of Duncan searching for his favorite photo.
"Here it is Mom. It is a photo of someone's large intestine."
"Oh lovely, dear."

That sounds like a book Ervie would love too!
Wow, fabulous! I'm going to check and see if my library has this.
What a great way to catch their attention.
Wow! I know a few kids who would like that one!!
@ Cindy - When they find it, they get stuck there for a while.
